I am Antonio Montiel, a photographer with a studio in Benalmádena specializing in family photography. My work stems from a search for emotion: I prefer sincere portraits over forced poses, and I strive to capture those everyday moments that, with time, become indispensable. In my Benalmádena studio I care for every detail — props, backdrops and, above all, lighting — and I devote special attention to image editing to convey my aesthetic point of view without losing the truth of the moment. My experience covers the different stages of family life: maternity sessions that celebrate the waiting, newborn sessions to preserve the tenderness of the first days, children’s portraits where I prioritize naturalness, and First Communion and smash cake sessions to immortalize celebratory milestones. I adapt the pace to the needs of each baby or child, working with patience, respect and genuine care. I also offer guidance on wardrobe, props and keepsake options, and can accommodate siblings and extended-family portraits. How do I work? Before the session we talk briefly to learn your preferences and answer any questions. On the day of the shoot I create a relaxed, close atmosphere; I provide clear directions and use play when needed so children loosen up. Afterwards I carefully select and retouch the photographs, aiming for an elegant, coherent finish that tells the story you want to preserve. Digital galleries, prints and bespoke albums are available to help you keep those memories. My goal is that each family recognizes itself in the images: that when you look at them you feel again the warmth, laughter and complicity of that moment.
