Hello, I’m Angelique, the photographer behind Pause & Pose Photography, based in La Línea de la Concepción and also working in Gibraltar and nearby areas of Spain. My passion is family photography: I specialize in capturing connection, laughter and those small gestures that turn a picture into a lifelong memory. As a family photographer, my approach combines techniques learned through accredited courses and workshops (IAO) with a documentary, empathetic sensibility. My sessions are not cold or mechanical: I aim to create a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere where parents and children feel comfortable, so I can photograph spontaneous moments as well as carefully composed portraits. My goal is for the images to reflect each family’s true personality, from group portraits to tender details of newborns and children. I regularly work with newborns, babies and children, adapting each session to the family’s rhythm. Before every shoot I have a short conversation with you to understand your tastes, style and expectations: together we choose the location (outdoors in La Línea or cosy indoor settings), the colour palette and the type of images you want. During the session I guide with a gentle hand, suggest small activities to encourage interaction and leave room for spontaneity — that blend is what creates the images that move you most. I invest in ongoing training and professional equipment to achieve natural, high-quality results. I deliver edited images with a timeless style, paying careful attention to light, composition and expression.
