I’m Javier Baños, a photographer and journalist in love with life who turns the small certainties of everyday moments into memories that move you. Based in Mairena del Alcor, with a studio serving the Alcalá/Seville area, I focus on family photography — a job I approach as telling an intimate, everyday story with a photojournalistic eye and the care of someone who’s carried a camera since age fifteen. My approach is simple: natural photos without stiff poses, where looks, searching hands and spontaneous smiles matter. I work with families who seek authenticity: studio newborn and baby sessions, child photo reports, smash cake and birthday sessions, as well as first communion coverage and family moments like baptisms. Each session is designed to respect your rhythm, so children feel free and emotions appear in front of the camera without being forced. How do I work? Before the session we talk: I want to know your story, what moves you and which little details you want to remember. In the studio I build sets with careful attention to light and atmosphere; outdoors I look for natural corners around Seville and the surrounding area where your family can feel comfortable. During the session I act with discretion and a touch of humour: I like to spark small jokes or remind you of an anecdote to bring out a genuine laugh. Afterward, I lovingly select the images and deliver them via a private gallery so you can choose and download at your leisure. My images aim to become that album that, years from now, will make you relive smells, voices and embraces. I regularly work with families from Mairena del Alcor, Alcalá de Guadaíra and Seville, and I’m happy to travel when the story calls for it.
