One thing defines RAFARUBIO: we love making beautiful photographs with a distinct character and style. As family photographers based in Zubia, our work is focused on telling the story of your people: from newborns and babies, through children’s sessions, to baptisms, first communions and family celebrations. Our approach seeks naturalness and simplicity: intimate images that age well and that, when you look at them, return exactly what you lived. Since 2005 we have worked with the same intention: discretion, tasteful aesthetics and a close, respectful manner. In every session we prioritise calm and respect for family dynamics. If you prefer the studio, we offer a controlled space where we take care of light, lighting setups and details. If you favour outdoor locations, we look for quiet places — gardens, parks or corners around Zubia — where light and spontaneity can flow. We give just enough guidance; we capture what happens. The result is a balance between thoughtful portraiture and natural photography, without forced poses. Our process is straightforward and personal: first we talk to get to know you and understand what you want; we propose practical ideas adapted to the children’s ages; on the day of the session we create a relaxed atmosphere so everything unfolds calmly; and finally we deliver a carefully retouched set of images ready to print or share. We value personalised attention: every family has its own pace, and we adapt to it. Although family photography is our speciality, RAFARUBIO also offers occasional portrait sessions and has experience producing short audiovisual material upon request. Still, our main strength and experience lie in family imagery: preserving authentic, stylish memories.
