I’m Sonia Gaitán, and my approach as a family photographer is simple: to connect with the essence of your family and create images that move you over time. From my studio in Montecanal (Zaragoza) I offer sessions designed to be a genuine pause in your routine — a space to relax, play and feel free to be yourselves. My work is rooted in naturalness and respect: I avoid forced poses and focus on the complicity, gestures and looks that tell your story. I work with natural light and neutral palettes to achieve timeless photographs that won’t go out of style, so that years from now they still bring back that first emotion. I would describe myself as a patient, empathetic and creative photographer — qualities I’ve cultivated over nearly 20 years of experience in press, advertising and family photography. Before the session we talk: I want to know who you are, what a typical day at home looks like and which moments you’d like to preserve. That conversation lets me personalize each shoot — whether in my welcoming Montecanal studio, outdoors or in your home — and prepare an environment where children feel comfortable and adults can relax. My goal is to turn the session into an enjoyable experience for the whole family. Although my specialty is family photography, I also accompany related stages: maternity sessions, child photography and newborn portraits, always maintaining the same sensitivity and care. I approach each project with intuition and dedication, taking care of editing and finishing so every image becomes a small treasure.
