I’m Dirk, a German photographer based in Alcúdia and a specialist in family photography across Mallorca. I photograph families, babies, newborns, children and intimate family events such as baptisms, communions or birthdays — always with a respectful and close approach. My style is documentary and relaxed. There is no strict script during a session with me: I prefer to accompany you in your small everyday actions — playing on the beach, evening hugs, spontaneous laughter — and capture the moments that truly matter. This approach helps even the most restless children feel comfortable and results in images full of life and emotion. I work with Mallorca’s natural light — early mornings and the golden hour — to achieve warm tones and atmospheres that convey feeling and lasting memories. Working with me is simple and personal. Before the session we coordinate the best location and time according to the children’s ages and the aesthetic you’re after; in Alcúdia I know quiet spots, family-friendly beaches and natural corners that work very well with babies and kids. During the shoot I guide you with gentle directions and playful suggestions, never rigid poses. After the session you receive a link to your secure gallery; I believe it’s important that you have all the images and the peace of mind to choose your favorites calmly for the final edits. I do not use AI-based editing tools to process your images: every image is edited manually and professionally, using high-end Sony equipment to ensure excellent image quality. Delivery is fast and your gallery is password-protected for privacy and ease of selection.
