I’m Amaia Maguregui, a photographer based in Galdakao with a deep passion for family stories. My work focuses on family photography: spontaneous, warm sessions aimed at catching the invisible —those small scenes and gestures that define life at home, on the beach, or in the places you choose together. My philosophy as a photographer comes from enjoying everyday life. For me there are no strict rules, only photographs: I aim to capture what I feel, not just what I see. This approach allows me to create honest images full of movement and life that will stand the test of time and continue to move you for years to come. I work especially with families, babies and newborns, and I also offer sessions with children and photo reports for family celebrations such as birthdays. How I work: before the session we talk so we can get to know each other, understand what moves you, and decide on the place where you will feel most comfortable —at home, outdoors near Galdakao, or in one of the inspiring landscapes around Bizkaia. During the session I prioritise naturalness: play, laughter and gentle prompts to help you relax and allow authentic moments to arise. My goal is for the experience to be pleasant and fun for the whole family, including the little ones. The post-session process is also part of the care: I edit each image with my personal style, preserving the warmth and authenticity of the moments. I provide private galleries so you can choose and download high-resolution photos. I pay careful attention to colour, light and mood to ensure the final images reflect your family’s personality. I work from Galdakao for families in Bilbao and across Bizkaia and I travel to special locations within the area.
