I’m Nerea, a family photographer based in Vitoria-Gasteiz, and my work focuses on telling your family story in a natural, spontaneous way. As a professional and a psychologist, I look for more than pretty images: I aim to create a calm, trusting atmosphere that allows the real feeling to emerge so I can capture genuine emotions. My documentary approach—observing and recording without imposing—respects your essence and transforms everyday gestures into family treasures. My speciality is family photography: sunset sessions in nature where warm light enhances tenderness and connection, or intimate at-home shoots when that feels more comfortable for you. I love working within the gentle chaos of family life: children at play, spontaneous laughter, sincere hugs and those small details that will later make you smile from the heart. I work with sensitivity, prioritising spontaneity while carefully composing each frame so that every image feels honest and timeless. While my main focus is family photography, I also photograph maternity and the baby’s first stages: newborn photos and baby sessions designed to capture tenderness and development throughout the first year. If you are celebrating a baptism, a birthday or a communion and want images that narrate those moments naturally, I can accompany you while always respecting your family’s prominence in the story. How I work: before the session we have a conversation to get to know each other, choose the location and create a comfortable atmosphere. I send wardrobe recommendations and tips to help the day run smoothly. During the session I encourage you to be yourselves; sometimes I’ll suggest small ideas, but my mission is to observe and record, not to direct. If you’d like to include pets or extend the family group, we’ll organise it in advance. My style favours sensitivity, black and white when the emotion calls for it, and a visual narrative that serves as a legacy for future generations.
