I’m Josy Secher, a family photographer based in Oria. My work focuses on telling family stories naturally: I look for those genuine moments — an unexpected laugh, a knowing glance, a simple everyday gesture — and turn them into images that last. My approach is simple and honest: I create relaxed sessions without forced poses, where the important thing is that you are yourselves. You don’t need to know how to pose; my experience is in creating a calm, close atmosphere that lets emotions flow freely. That naturalness is what turns a session into authentic memories, not stiff photographs. I regularly work with families and children in Oria and across Gipuzkoa. Before the session we talk to get to know each other, understand your family dynamics and choose the location that best reflects your story — whether at home, in a park, or on the beach. During the session I mix a documentary style with gentle directions when needed: that way I capture both spontaneous moments and more composed images. I like sessions to be comfortable and fun for the little ones, because the best photographs come when they’re enjoying themselves. Beyond the shoot, I spend time carefully selecting and editing each image to maintain a bright, sincere aesthetic while respecting the moment’s atmosphere.
