I’m Ana, a family photographer with more than 10 years behind the camera and a local studio in Santurtzi. My focus is on what really happens: spontaneous laughter, unplanned hugs and those small gestures that, in a few years, will be the ones to make us smile. I work in family photography because I believe photos are a treasure: they don’t just show how we looked, but how we felt. My training in Education and my experience with children shape the way I work. I know how to build a climate of trust where little ones feel safe and adults can relax: no rigid poses or forced smiles. In my sessions I prioritise naturalness and connection; I accompany, observe and shoot when those little moments that tell your story appear. The result is timeless, warm and honest images designed to move you today and for years to come. How do I work? Before the session we talk: you tell me who you are, what you like and what you want to keep. I can welcome you in my Santurtzi studio or join you on nearby outdoor locations to take advantage of the light and places that mean something to you. During the session I adapt to your family’s rhythm: I play with the children when needed, give space to the shy ones and encourage moments where complicity can arise. Afterwards, I take care of the editing with a clean, timeless style, aiming for each photograph to retain its original emotion. Although my specialty is family photography — families, children and babies — I also photograph newborns, birthdays and small family celebrations with the same sensitivity and respect for every stage. I work mainly in Santurtzi and the surrounding areas of Bizkaia, and I love that families trust me to create memories that are handed down through generations.
