I’m Julio Sicilia, a photographer specialized in family photography based in San Miguel de Abona. After years working as a creative in advertising agencies, I returned to my home to focus entirely on photography. I’m obsessed with light, people and the stories they carry; that perspective is what I bring to every family session to create images that truly say something. My approach centers on capturing the essence of each family in a natural, sincere way. I avoid stiff posing and instead foster a relaxed, friendly atmosphere where spontaneity can surface. The connection between you—parents and children, newborns, babies or siblings—is what I aim to show. Whenever possible I work with natural light and I pay close attention to composition, color and framing so each photograph has character and visual coherence. I offer sessions adapted to your needs: outdoor shoots across Tenerife—beach, mountains or iconic spots around El Teide—or intimate in-home sessions where we highlight the everyday warmth of family life. I also shoot maternity and newborn sessions, approaching them with patience and sensitivity so everything unfolds with trust and calm. Newborn shoots are paced gently and always prioritize the baby’s comfort and safety. My process is simple and collaborative. Before the session I talk with you to understand your ideas and advise on locations, wardrobe and the best light timings (golden hour, morning shade, etc.). During the shoot I guide you with soft directions so you feel comfortable and authentic moments emerge. Afterwards, I carefully select and edit the images with a considered eye for mood and tone, delivering a final gallery that represents your family story with coherence and personality. I work throughout Tenerife and bring the professional experience I have developed over my career.
