I’m Patricia, a photographer dedicated to telling family stories from Castro-Urdiales. My work centers on family photography: I don’t look for flawless poses but for honest moments that, over time, become the most precious memories. I work with families who value the power of the everyday and want images that reflect who they are, how they look at each other and how they relate. My approach is documentary and close. I like to build a rapport with you so the session becomes a real experience—sometimes playful, sometimes tense—but always genuine. I pay attention to small gestures: the bedtime caress, the laugh after a joke, the spontaneous hug in the kitchen. Those are the images children will search for in years to come to understand what their home was like and who their parents were. I work respectfully and at a calm pace. Before the session I talk with you to get to know you, understand what moves you and answer practical questions: location, clothing or how to handle little ones. I give clear, realistic guidance so everything flows and no one feels they’re “posing.” During the session I move discreetly to capture natural scenes and, when needed, I suggest small activities that spark family connection. Being a mother has deeply shaped my perspective: I know how houses with children function, the routines, the insecurities and what truly matters. That experience allows me to create a relaxed, trusting atmosphere where families feel free to be themselves. My work has also been published in magazines and featured in projects that value authenticity, helping me refine a distinct visual narrative.
