I’m Alicia, the photographer behind Alicia Fotografía, and my specialty is family photography in Segovia. For more than 18 years I have refined a way of working focused on naturalness, tenderness and real connection between people. My aim is for every session to be a calm, pleasant experience that results in sincere, luminous and timeless images. My approach to family sessions combines a soft aesthetic with a documentary eye: I look for those spontaneous moments — the laughter, the embraces, the looks — that tell the story of your family without forced posing. I primarily work with natural light in my warm, welcoming studio in Nava de la Asunción (Segovia), and when the story asks for it I also shoot outdoors to take advantage of seasonal light and scenic locations. This combination lets me deliver portraits that breathe calm and emotion. Besides family photography, I specialize in maternity sessions. I understand the sensitivity of this moment and enjoy accompanying families so the expectant mother feels comfortable and centre stage. My maternity sessions aim to highlight the beauty and emotion of the wait, with simple compositions and careful editing that enhance warm, natural tones. How I work: before the session we talk about what matters to you — locations, outfits and the mood you want — so everything is planned and you can relax. During the shoot I prioritise the rhythm of the children and the comfort of the parents, creating a relaxed atmosphere where spontaneity comes easily. Afterwards I carefully select and edit the images to ensure a coherent, emotive final result.
