I am Mónica López and my studio in the heart of Guadalajara is designed to tell your family’s story through sincere, close photographs. As a family photographer, my goal is for every session to be a warm, relaxed experience: here we don’t look for forced poses, but for authentic moments that let you relive feelings, glances and gestures each time you see the images. I work both in the studio and on location. Studio sessions offer a controlled, welcoming environment—ideal for babies and intimate portraits—while outdoor sessions take advantage of natural light and surroundings to create more spontaneous, lively images. Before each session we talk about what you like, the places that represent you, and how you feel most comfortable, so I can design a session tailored to your family. My approach is natural and emotional: I focus on capturing connection, smiles and small details that, with time, become treasures. In addition to family photography, I offer baby and newborn reports, child photography and special sessions such as first communions, baptisms and birthdays—always respecting each child’s spontaneity and personality. When working with newborns, I prioritize calm and the baby’s well-being to obtain tender, safe images. The studio experience is designed for families to enjoy: comfortable space, friendly treatment and a calm atmosphere so little ones feel at ease. After the session I carefully select and edit the images with an aesthetic sensitivity that seeks to convey the original feeling of the moment.
