I’m Virginia Bodega, a family photographer based in Guadalajara. My work starts from the belief that the best photographs are born from sincerity and calm. I specialize in family photography both outdoors and in your home, always seeking the light, tenderness, and the small gestures that tell your story. My style is simple, natural, and evocative: I don’t aim for forced poses but for authentic moments that will move you over the years. In every session I strive to create a relaxed and close atmosphere. Before the shoot we talk about your ideas, I offer guidance on clothing and locations (I love nature as a backdrop: fields, sunsets, lavender or sunflowers when possible), and on the day I make sure everything flows: play, gentle guidance, and small prompts so smiles appear without pressure. If you prefer the comfort of home, I also offer at-home sessions where intimacy and everyday life provide the best setting to capture your family’s essence. My training in journalism and my experience as a mother help me to observe with sensitivity and narrative order: each session aims to tell a coherent story — your story — through warm, timeless images. I work with patience, dedication, and careful editing so every photograph conveys that emotion which so often fades with time. Although my primary focus is family photography, I also offer maternity sessions and children’s photography that complement your family memories.
