Foto-Familia.online is the way to find and book the family sessions I offer from Santabárbara Photo Studio in Toledo. For me, the most important thing is the relationship with people: I don’t look for clients, I meet families. I work from that idea because the best photos are born from trust, calm and naturalness. My approach as a family photographer (family photographer, family photos, family photo session) is documentary and contemporary: I prefer to capture glances, gestures and light rather than artificial poses. With a prior conversation I listen to what matters to you —spaces that define you, details and key people— and I propose a session in the studio or outdoors adapted to your way of being. In every meeting I try to create a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere so that adults and children forget the camera and appear as they really are. I usually work with families with babies and young children and I understand the rhythms required to photograph the little ones. I am patient: I organize the session to match the baby’s feeding and resting times, and I never force situations. That’s how I achieve newborn and baby photos that respect their comfort and feel sincere. I also document special family moments related to baptisms, first communions or intimate celebrations —always from my main perspective: the family as a core of stories and emotions—. My method is simple and close. Before the session we talk about the tone you want: natural, bright, more classic or fresher. During the shoot I guide you with simple directions and a calm energy; I don’t want anyone to act, but to express themselves. Afterwards, I select and edit the images ensuring they look clean, emotive and coherent with your personality. My goal is not posing for show, but to keep images that will move you in ten or twenty years.
