As a family photographer with a studio in Badalona, my work is focused on turning everyday moments into memories that move you forever. I’m Mari Fernández: I arrive at each session with the sensitivity of someone who understands family dynamics (I come from a psychology background) and with the enthusiasm of a mother who knows the value of small looks, messy hugs and sincere laughter. My approach to family photography is documentary and close: I prioritize naturalness over rigid posing. I aim to capture the connection between parents and children, the hands that intertwine, affectionate gestures and the fleeting details. I work both in my studio — with large windows and carefully selected props — and outdoors when the light and occasion call for it; in both settings I create a relaxed atmosphere so that little ones and adults enjoy the experience. Before the session we connect to prepare everything: I’ll guide you on outfits, colour combinations and tips for encouraging spontaneous smiles from the children. The studio offers wardrobe and accessories designed for families and child sessions; if you prefer a more intimate plan, I also photograph mommy & me sessions and baby/newborn sessions with all the necessary care. My style leans toward natural light, soft tones and compositions that convey tenderness and truth. I work with patience and flexibility: I know every family has its own rhythm, so I adapt the session to the needs of the children and the group.
