I’m Helena (or “la Molinos”), a photographer with a studio in Mataró specializing in family photography. My work starts from a simple idea: photographing happiness. That’s why my sessions aim to create a relaxed, close atmosphere where everyday looks and gestures become the protagonists. My training in graphic design and several photography courses gave me the technical foundation; my instinct and love for the spontaneous are what make the images come to life. I consider myself a little wild and sometimes absent-minded, but also a perfectionist: “Nothing halfway.” I work with precision, intuition and dedication to deliver results that move you. My approach: timeless, natural sessions. I prefer to capture the complicity between family members rather than stiff posing. I work both in my studio at C/ de los Guaranís 10 and outdoors around Mataró when the story calls for it. Always by appointment: I like to give each family all the time they need so the experience is calm and enjoyable. How I work: we talk before the session to understand what you want to remember; on the day I create a relaxed environment — play, respect children’s rhythms and look for real moments —; afterwards, the editing process completes the image. As I say in the studio: the first 50% is a great shot; the other 50% is retouching and the final finish. The result is warm photographs, with personal style and a professional final treatment. In addition to family photography, my studio offers sessions for babies and maternity (newborn, pregnancy), and children’s reports such as birthdays, communions or baptisms.
