I’m Saray Ruiz, a family photographer based in Santa Coloma de Gramenet. My work is born from personal experience and a love of motherhood: becoming a mother changed the way I see things and taught me to seek the truth in every moment. For that reason my approach focuses on family sessions where naturalness and genuine emotion take center stage, without forced poses or artifice. Why choose a session with me? Because I understand the importance of everyday details: a knowing smile, an impromptu hug, the tenderness between siblings. I work calmly and respectfully, creating a relaxed atmosphere where families feel free to be themselves. My style is minimalist and emotional; I look for soft light, natural backgrounds and compositions that tell your story rather than chasing a flawless retouch. My practical approach: before the session we talk to learn about your concerns and preferences. Outdoors I favor sunset light and natural settings that encourage movement and play; if you prefer intimacy, I also offer at-home sessions to capture routine and bonding in your own space. During the session I suggest games and activities so children can express themselves naturally; I observe and shoot the authentic moments. After the session I select and edit the images to maintain a coherent, thoughtful narrative, always respecting the natural style that defines my work. Although family photography is my specialty, I also accompany families through nearby stages such as newborn sessions, children’s sessions and family celebrations (for example birthday shoots), always with the same criteria of respect and naturalness. My goal is that when you look at the photos you feel again what was lived: the laughter, the tenderness, the complicity. I work from Santa Coloma de Gramenet and travel around the province to create memories that endure.
