I'm Meritxell, a family photographer based in Sants‑Montjuïc (Barcelona), and my mission is simple: to turn everyday moments into memories that move you. As a specialist in family photography, my approach focuses on naturalness and authenticity. I aim for each session to be a pleasant experience for everyone—children, babies and adults—so the images reflect laughter, glances and gentle touches that truly represent you. What sets me apart is my working style: a minimal aesthetic, neutral tones and a relaxed attitude in front of the camera. I avoid stiff poses and heavy props because I believe the most valuable thing is your connection. My sessions favor spontaneity and play—walks, tickles, songs or simple hugs—to create natural, timeless photographs you can look at for years and still feel the moment. I work both in my bright Sants studio—using natural light and neutral backdrops—and outdoors or in your home, always adapting to whatever makes you feel most comfortable. Before the session we always talk: I like to know how many people will come, their ages and what you want to remember. That conversation allows me to plan a relaxed, personalized experience. During the session my role is to guide, not impose: I create simple scenarios where real emotions can emerge. Afterwards I carefully select and edit each image to maintain a clean, sincere aesthetic. Although family photography is my specialty, I also support families through intimate stages such as maternity and newborn sessions, as well as family celebrations like birthdays and christenings. Being a mother gives me a special empathy with each family: I understand nerves, questions and expectations, and I work from tenderness and patience.
