I’m Pili Hidalgo, a photographer based in Vilanova i la Geltrú, specialized in family photography. My work comes from the need to preserve those fleeting moments: knowing looks, embraces that speak for themselves, laughter we will one day miss. I don’t pursue technical perfection above all; my aim is to translate emotions into images you can look at years from now and feel again. My approach is simple: create a comfortable, natural atmosphere where you can be yourselves. I enjoy “disappearing” during the session so you forget the camera and live the moment; only then do I capture photographs that convey authenticity. I work closely and calmly, respecting individual rhythms and emotions, both in my studio in Vilanova and in outdoor locations that are special to you. I have specific training in infant and newborn photography, which gives me the tools to handle the little ones with sensitivity when they are part of a family session. This experience allows me to combine spontaneous portraits with carefully crafted images, always prioritizing the wellbeing of every family member. The process is personal and designed to make you feel supported at every step: we talk before the session to get to know each other and define the style, I suggest locations and dynamics adapted to your family, and on the day of the shoot I take care to create a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. Afterwards, I carefully select and edit the photographs so the final result stays true to the emotion we experienced together.
