I’m Clara Ballesta, founder of Mataró Photography, and my passion is to tell family stories through images that convey warmth and naturalness. As a portrait photographer with training in photography and graphic design, I have spent years turning everyday moments into memories that last. My main focus is family photography: for me every session is an opportunity to show your family’s personality, not just to pose in front of the camera. In addition to family sessions, I accompany the first chapters of life: newborn sessions, baby photos and children’s photo reports. I approach every shoot with the same sensitivity: I respect the rhythms of the little ones, look for light and compositions that enhance tenderness and spontaneity, and pay attention to the details that make your photos unique (moments with parents, siblings, and small celebrations such as birthdays, baptisms or communions if you wish to immortalize them). My working method is friendly and flexible. Before the session we talk about what you like and the places that feel special to you: my studio in Mataró, the Maresme beach, or a natural setting. During the session I guide you calmly and with good humor; many families tell me they barely notice I’m there, which allows me to capture genuine moments. Afterwards I take care of the editing to preserve the atmosphere and emotion of each photograph.
