We are Alberto and Paula, and at Verde Menta we passionately dedicate ourselves to family photography from our base in Cangas do Morrazo. Our work focuses on telling real stories: capturing the bond between parents and children, the small gestures of newborns, and the spontaneous laughter of kids — always with an editorial, honest approach and without artifices. For more than seven years we have refined a way of working that prioritizes naturalness: we avoid stiff posing — our motto is that “posed shots are a thing of the past” — and prefer to document emotions as they arise. Before the session we like to get to know you — talk about your children, routines and favorite places — so we can create a comfortable environment where everything flows. During the shoot we guide you with calm and a sense of humor, helping bring out the best without forcing anything. This approach works especially well with newborns and young children, because trust turns timidity into genuine looks. Although our specialty is family photography, we also photograph maternity sessions with the same care and sensitivity.
