I’m Xulio, a photographer based in Ourense dedicated to family photography. My work is born from a passion for natural light, composition and, above all, capturing authentic moments. My approach is discreet and honest: I prefer to remain unobtrusive so interactions and emotions can flow naturally and be preserved without artifice. I specialize in family sessions that include newborns, babies, children and celebrations such as baptisms, communions and birthdays. Each session is conceived as a close, relaxed encounter: I create calm spaces where children feel free and parents can be themselves. That allows me to capture looks, gestures and small everyday scenes that, over time, become the most treasured memories. I work with sensitivity to natural light and careful composition; I seek frames that turn an intimate instant into an image with visual strength. I don’t pursue forced poses: my goal is to document the essence of your family—the movement, the complicity and the spontaneous laughter—always leaving room for a considered detail that brings beauty to the visual story. The process is simple and personal. Before the session I talk with you to understand what matters, which spaces represent you and what types of images you want to keep. On the day of the session I adapt to the rhythms of the children and the home: patience, a sense of humour and respect for timing are key to allowing sincere images to emerge. After the session I select and edit the photographs with an artistic eye while maintaining the naturalness that defines my approach.
