I'm Itziar, a family photographer based in Boadilla del Monte. My work is born from the desire to turn everyday life into lasting memories. As a specialist in family photography, I focus on capturing complicity, small routines and those gestures that define your life together: hugs, knowing looks, and hands that care. I believe in slow, natural sessions without awkward poses, where you are the protagonists and I act as a quiet collaborator to preserve the authenticity of the moment. Most sessions take place in your home—the place where stories live and where children feel most at ease. I photograph while respecting your family’s rhythm and, when appropriate, I also offer outdoor sessions in locations that are meaningful to you. For families with newborns I work with calm and care, respecting the baby’s pauses and the mother’s tranquility: my aim is to provide a serene, close experience—not a stressful one. Before the session I plan with you: I advise on clothing, find the best light-filled corners in your home and answer any questions so you arrive relaxed. During the shoot my documentary and artistic approach is combined with gentle directions to encourage natural poses and moments of connection; this allows me to create intimate, honest images with a refined aesthetic that endures. In addition to digital photographs, I offer options to turn your images into unique pieces: custom embroidery on photographs by Maite Ortega, artistic collages and 100% cotton fabric prints that give another dimension to your memories. These proposals complement the experience and transform photos into heirlooms for future generations. My personal project FUERZA MADRE also informs my way of working: I am committed to making real motherhood visible, accompanying and portraying stories that are often left untold.
