I’m Sara Musicò, a photographer with a studio in Collado-Villalba specializing in family photography. My work starts from the conviction that the best images aren’t manufactured—they are found. I aim to capture the complicity, small routines and authentic gestures that turn a home, a park or a studio into the setting for a unique family story. Why trust me with your family session? Because family is my specialty. For years I have accompanied couples and their children before, during and after the arrival of a baby: documenting pregnancies, the first days with a newborn, children’s play, and creating sincere memories of baptisms, communions and birthdays. I approach each reportage as an intimate, personalized portrait: there are no repeated formulas, only tailored proposals designed to reflect who you are. My approach combines the calm of the studio with the freedom of outdoor locations. In my Collado-Villalba studio I work with controlled light and simple setups to achieve clean, timeless images; outdoors I make the most of natural light and charming spots to capture spontaneous photos. I also love when pets are part of the session—dogs and cats often appear because they are an important part of the family. How do I work with families? Before the session we talk: you tell me what excites you, what makes you laugh and what you want to remember. During the session I manage the pace, offer gentle guidance and leave plenty of room for spontaneity; patience and respect for the rhythms of the little ones are essential. I follow safe newborn handling practices and adapt every session to the family’s comfort. After the shoot I carefully select and lovingly edit each image to enhance the warm, intimate and honest atmosphere we were aiming for. My goal is that, when you look at the photographs, you feel that morning, that afternoon of play or that hug all over again.
