I’m Ángel Santamaría and for more than 15 years I’ve been telling personal stories through images. As a father of four, I know better than anyone how quickly family moments pass; that’s why at Santamaría Studio we specialize in family photography: preserving those little pieces of life with respect, simplicity and beauty. My approach is clear: emotive, natural and elegant photography. I always work seeking simplicity and authentic connection between people, avoiding rigid poses and artifices. In every session I aim to create a relaxed, close atmosphere —in the studio or on location around Majadahonda and nearby areas— so smiles, hugs and looks appear without pressure. That calm shows in the images: timeless portraits that breathe and tell something real. How I work: I prepare each session in advance, listening to what you want to preserve. I advise on clothing and location, pay attention to lighting and details, and gently guide you so you feel comfortable even if you’re not used to posing. For families with babies or newborns I adapt the pace of the session, always prioritizing the little one’s comfort and the parents’ connection. Although family photography is my specialty, I also offer related sessions in the studio such as newborn shoots, children’s portraits and First Communion sessions, all following the same philosophy: naturalness, elegance and emotion.
