I’m Patricia Carrión and my passion is telling family stories through sincere, soulful images. “One of the secrets is to photograph what we live but do not see” — this is the motto that guides my work in every family session. With over 17 years of experience and my own studio in Villaviciosa de Odón, I specialise in family photography, offering sessions designed to capture spontaneity, connection and the small everyday emotions that become lasting memories. My approach is warm and relaxed: I create environments where families feel comfortable and natural expression can emerge. Before the session I focus on building connection and trust; getting to know you and understanding what moves you helps me capture genuine moments, whether outdoors or in my studio. I work with families, babies, newborns, children, baptisms, communions and children’s celebrations, adapting the pace and atmosphere to each age and individual need. I trained in Cinematography with a specialization in camera and photography, and over the years I have refined lighting and portrait techniques for working with children. My experience as a leisure activity instructor also helps me empathize with little ones and direct sessions with care and patience. I use professional equipment (Profoto A1, Canon EOS R6 MARK II, Canon EOS 5D Mark IV and Canon lenses) and carry out RAW processing and prints with Epson and Mitsubishi systems to ensure a technically and visually high-quality result. My style seeks tenderness and truth without forcing poses: I prefer smiles that arise naturally, knowing looks and everyday gestures that become treasured memories. After the session I carefully edit the images to preserve the atmosphere and convey the original emotion.
