I’m Elena, a family photographer in Cartagena with a focus on what matters most: the people who make your home. My work grew out of my own experience as a mother — it was the desire to preserve every little gesture of my daughter Lucía that led me to leave a previous career in banking and devote myself to photography — and since then my studio has been a place for families to feel relaxed and enjoy the moment. I specialize in family photography: I aim to capture tenderness, complicity and spontaneity rather than forcing poses. My sessions are honest and relaxed; I prefer to create a calm atmosphere where children can be themselves and adults can feel natural. I work with patience, valuing play and conversation as tools to bring out real smiles and genuine hugs. How do I work? With closeness and care: before the session we talk to learn about your preferences and offer ideas that will make you feel comfortable. In the studio I provide backdrops and wardrobe options that allow for different styles — from intimate portraits to more playful family images — and I adapt the pace to each child, baby or grandparent. My goal is not just to take pretty photos, but to build a soulful keepsake you can look at years from now and relive what you felt that day. Although family photography is the main focus of my studio, I also photograph babies and newborn sessions, children's reportage for birthdays, and portraits for communion and baptism when families wish to expand their collection of memories.
