I’m Antonio (Antuan), the person behind Calatayud Estudio, and I have been devoted to photography for over 15 years. My specialty is family photography: capturing the real connections between loved ones, the small gestures and the unnoticed glances that become lasting memories. My approach is rooted in family photojournalism: I work discreetly to seize natural, spontaneous moments, avoiding forced poses. I believe the best photographs are born from a relaxed, authentic atmosphere, so I strive to create an environment where parents, children and babies feel calm and can simply be themselves. Light, gesture and stillness are my tools to tell your story. I offer sessions in different settings depending on what identifies you most: at-home reportage to reflect everyday life, outdoor sessions (parks, beach or Valencia’s urban environments) to take advantage of natural light and movement, and studio sessions designed especially for newborns. In newborn sessions I combine patience, safety and controlled lighting to produce delicate, timeless images families cherish. Before each session we talk: I like to learn about your ideas, reference images you like and the children’s routines. That conversation helps me design a personalized session — from selecting the location to determining the time needed — that respects the needs of the little ones. During the session I maintain a close, calm demeanor: I give simple directions when necessary, but mostly I observe and capture genuine moments. My experience includes work with families, babies and pregnancies, and I’ve shaped my vision around naturalness and technical quality. I take care in post‑production to preserve the true tone of each image, enhancing emotion without resorting to artifice.
