I’m Mariola Pérez, the photographer behind Mariola Gil Photography. My vocation is to tell your family’s story through honest, emotion-filled images. Based in San Vicent del Raspeig and with more than a decade dedicated to family photography across the province of Alicante, I specialise in maternity and family sessions that respect the naturalness of each moment — from newborn and baby portraits to child sessions, baptisms, communions and birthday celebrations. My approach is warm and personalised. Before every session I speak with families to learn their story, preferences and expectations for the photos. This allows me to prepare a tailored proposal, whether we work in my Alicante studio — a comfortable space designed for families and babies — or on location, where natural light enhances looks and gestures. I create a relaxed atmosphere so children and parents feel free to be themselves: spontaneous and authentic. I use techniques that prioritise emotion and visual storytelling: natural light whenever possible, simple compositions and moments of genuine connection that convey tenderness and complicity. For newborn sessions I always apply safe handling practices and flexible scheduling, respecting the baby’s and family’s rhythm. With children my method is playful and patient; I adapt to their tempo to capture true smiles and genuine expressions. Closeness, honesty and continuous improvement guide my work: I like to get involved in each project and I’m honoured to see families return to work with me at different stages of life.
